Résumé

A distributed combined cooling, heating and power system (CCHP) is set up to substitute a coal based conventional energy system in a hotel and office complex building. The CCHP system is composed of a gas internal combustion engine generation set, and absorption chiller, a boiler and several heat exchangers. Although distributed CCHP systems are well known for their advantages, few literatures focus on revealing in practical circumstances, in which CCHP systems often work in their part load performances to meet fluctuant demands. In this paper, several criteria of thermodynamics and thermo-economics are applied to evaluate the practical application based on the performance in different demand situations.
