Résumé

This study predicts the fulfilled level of ventilation for occupied rooms by combining estimated frequencies of wind pressure acting on external walls of buildings, which are analysed using wind pressure coefficients for wall and climate data, and on airflow network calculation procedure. In a previous paper, only fresh air flow rates were discussed for centre core type model apartments, because of the characteristics of rooms facing external air on only one wall surface. This paper analyses fresh air flow rates together with air renewal rate due to effective ventilation and concentration of formaldehyde and evaluates multi-room ventilation characteristics and the fulfilled level of ventilation, for balcony access type model apartments. It was confirmed that ventilation characteristics, concerning the formaldehyde concentration, are strongly related to air renewal rate. An attempt to install additional "ducts for supply air" with non-return valves was found to improve ventilation characteristics and the fulfilled level of ventilation in each occupied room.
