Résumé

The paper provides a full description of the novel cycle and the construction of the prototype machine that is currently under test. In addition to the use of a steam ejector the novel design includes an air-cooled condenser and an air-cooled absorber and a novel gas-fired generator. The paper discusses the operation of the prototype machine and shows that its measured COP is comparable with that of the double-effect cycle but with less complexity and initial cost.
