Résumé
The impact of gaseous refrigerant flowing resistance on the adsorption refrigeration cycle is analysed with a recently developed model. The resistances mentioned in this article are produced from two gas flow pipe lines, from the adsorber to the condenser and from the adsorber to the evaporator respectively. They make the pressures in adsorbers during adsorption and desorption different from the evaporating and condensing pressures respectively as normally assumed in theoretical cycles. In a continuous adsorption refrigeration cycle, the pressure drop leads to a considerable reduction in cycle performance. According to simulation results, the flowing resistance from the adsorber to the evaporator should be taken into account even more, and is the main factor affecting the cycle performance. The analysis method and results in this article are helpful for the analysis and optimum design of adsorption refrigeration systems.
