This paper covers aspects of air quality, gas phase air cleaning (particularly adsorption) limitations and opportunities, capital and energy saving impacts, and the role of standards. It discusses application parameters, deals with testing of gas phase air cleaners and presents odour removal efficiency test results for a product. Economics of use are discussed.
