Résumé

Additional application software for ongoing commissioning should be added to support the optimization of the operation and maintenance of HVAC components, and performance benchmarks need to be developed based on target values or previous measured normal performance. In this case study, the heat rejected by chillers is recovered through a heat exchanger for re-heating needs in the summer. The paper presents the analysis of measurements over three years of operation. Different benchmark approaches for the heat-recovery process and equipment are presented. Different metrics and their capacity to detect the degradation of performance of heat exchangers and heat recovery are discussed.
