L'effet du gaz réel et de la contamination liquide sur la simulation des pressions de pulsation dans un collecteur de compresseur volumétrique.

The real-gas effect and liquid contamination effect on the pressure pulsations simulation in volumetric compressor manifold.

Résumé

The pressure pulsation propagation analysis is usually carried out using one or zero dimensional methods with the assumption of the pure ideal gas model. In this paper the comparison of the CFD simulation results using the ideal gas model and the results for real gas model contaminated with oil are compared. The method of simulation allows calculating acoustic transmittances for the installation element on the basis of the CFD simulation. The FLUENT and PHOENICS software is used for the 3D simulation of the oil separator in the refrigerant volumetric compressor installation. Results allow concluding that empirical gas equation of state, with locally constant compressibility coefficient, gives usually satisfactory results. Different levels of oil contamination have been considered and compared from 1 up to 50% of the mass flow rate liquid/gas phase. Below 5%, the liquid phase has small influence on the results.
