Résumé

With the ever increasing attention given to energy saving, also in the field of refrigeration 'energy labelling' is more and more mentioned as an energy-saving policy. The article starts with explaining what energy labelling is. Special attention is paid to the consequences of energy labelling for companies working in the field of refrigeration. The refrigeration 'products' for which energy labelling schemes are applicable (or will be applicable in the near future) are presented.
