Résumé

The Industrial Engineers' School of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia opened a new Experimental Centre of Refrigeration and Air conditioning on the 8th of May, 1998. A few leading firms have supplied this centre with the most modern equipment. In this laboratory, students will be able to get acquainted in situ with the operation of refrigerating and air-conditioning plants under their most practical aspects, under conditions similar to those they will encounter when they begin work in the profession.
