Résumé

Preliminary heat-transfer measurements are reported for condensation of R113 on two tube banks, one with plain tubes and one with commercially available (Wieland-Werke AG) finned tubes with approximately 50 fins per inch. Vapour-side enhancement factors (for the same vapour-side temperature difference) up to around 7 were found.
