Résumé
Describes in some detail the low-energy "Synergy house" programme of 400 houses being sponsored by the PreussenElektra power company. Space heating is by hot water. Describes and illustrates diagrammatically the mechanical ventilation systems used, one based on decentralised supply air introduction and centralised air extraction with heat recovery. Also illustrates the heat pump-based exhaust air heat recovery unit.
