Résumé

The article refers to a Swedish project "Schools with natural ventilation", which involves examining the indoor environment of four recently built schools with natural ventilation. One school takes in air via underground pipes and crawl space foundations; another via underground pipes and a basement duct where ventilation is completely without mechanical assistance; the third school has outdoor air terminals and a small mechanically assisted base flow, while the fourth is an extract ventilation building in which ventilation can be boosted through well designed window opening facilities. Climate inside the schools is perceived as very good. The article presents results of comfort measurements, which are very good.
