Résumé

A modern refrigeration installation without any lubricants is rather inconceivable nowadays. Lubricants are needed for compressors and various moving parts in the system. But lubricants can have drawbacks. In heat exchangers they cause poor performance and this may lead to malfunctioning of the system. The article gives a quick overview of what one can expect from several lubricants.
