A series of reports from BSRIA highlights the positive forecasts for Malaysia and Thailand. The Malaysian market is showing strong growth, bouncing back from the Asian crisis. Small minisplits are buoyant in the residential sector as the number of new homes is rising sharply and consumers go ahead with delayed replacements. The market is being further boosted by the sharp falls in price and the growth of retail against the traditional professional route.
