Résumé

The paper presents a short histological reference for ammonia refrigerating systems in Bulgaria, the new tendencies for reconstruction and building of new industrial systems, and also some energy-efficient and operation project concepts of industrial ammonia refrigerating units. The main sources of non-reversible losses in ammonia refrigerating systems are discussed. The data presented in the paper confirm the indisputable position of ammonia refrigerating systems for the future.
