Résumé

Technology for minimization of refrigeration charge in plants has now come so far that new approaches are needed. Also, development of means of minimizing leakage of refrigerants has entered a phase where change in design is no longer enough. The paper points out trends in drivers of change from a manufacturer's perspective.
