Résumé

European Seasonal Energy Efficiency (ESEER) describes the efficiency of a compressor working under changing ambient conditions. Changes of ambient temperature, cooling demand and number of working hours in a year are taken into account. An example of the ESEER use during compressors selection for large commercial objects is given and costs of energy use in real plants are estimated.
