Résumé

The paper discusses the effect of the presence of non-condensing gases (mainly air) on the basic operating parameters of the refrigeration devices. The most important consequences are discussed. Special attention has been paid to the influence of the presence of air on the technical state of the compressor as well as on heat transfer conditions in a condenser. Detection of non-condensing gases is discussed and purging methods are presented.
