Résumé

Users are the best experts of their environment. Only by understanding the entire indoor environment it is possible to improve the perceived indoor environment for users' benefit. Solving indoor environmental problems requires a multi-professional team, where at least IAQ, building physics and HVAC-system specialists work together. It is important to have a comprehensive process to improve both indoor air quality and thermal comfort using perceived indoor environment quality and users' health symptoms as the starting point.
