Liquéfaction de l'argon grâce à un cycle frigorifique à mélange de frigorigènes.

Argon liquefaction by means of a mixed refrigerant cycle.

Auteurs : FRANK T., ZIEGLER E., KARANAM A., et al.

Résumé

In recent years, the demand for liquefied gases like nitrogen, argon or natural gas is increasing also for small quantities. Mixed refrigerant cycles (MRC) are seen as promising candidates as liquefaction processes for areas yet unexploited such as land fill- or bio gas, stranded or capped gas wells or even flare gases. The MRC test stand at the Institut für Technische Thermodynamik und Kältetechnik has been modified for the liquefaction ofgases. First experiments were run for liquefying argon. Exergetic efficiencies of 2.4% were reached with the first liquefier test stand.
