Mélange de frigorigènes : refroidissement de gaz supracritique.

Supercritical gas cooling in refrigerant blends.

Résumé

This paper presents the results of an experimental study on heat transfer at critical and supercritical pressures of refrigerant blends R404A and R410A inside 9.4 and 6.2 mm tubes commonly used by the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. Local heat transfer coefficients were measured at the critical pressure and at 1.1 and 1.2 times the critical pressure for the mass flux range between 200 and 800 kg/m2.s over the range of temperatures 30-110 °C. A technique that simultaneously allows accurate measurement of low local heat duties and deduction of the heat transfer coefficient from the measured overall resistance was used. The sharp variations in the fluid properties in the vicinity of the critical point were found to have a substantial effect on heat transfer coefficients. Due to these abrupt property variations, the heat transfer coefficients show sharp peaks near the critical temperature. These data will be used in the future development of supercritical heat transfer models.
