Mesures de l'écoulement critique des frigorigènes.

Measurement of the critical flow of refrigerants.

Auteurs : GÓRSKI J., RABCZAK S.

Résumé

The critical mass flow of dense gases strongly depends on the real gas effects. In the work an analytical model of critical flow of refrigerants has been experimentally verified. Measurements of the critical mass flow for superheated vapour of R410A were carried out on the laboratory test-stand. An experimental validation of computing results obtained based on Martin-Hou EOS is referring to the values of critical flow function. The sonic flow conditions in the closed loop system have been executed by using standard IS0 9300 critical Venturi nozzles. A main goal of the theoretical results examination is the new chart developed for a wide range of stagnation parameters in the upstream fluid-flow i.e. at the assumed temperature and pressure. The computational study was provided by an implementation of theoretical model (Gorski, 1997) for one dimensional non-linear gas dynamic problems. This model, with the Johnson's corrections for the boundary layer displacement thickness, gives a very realistic prediction of the critical flow function. A good agreement between theory and experimental data has been confirmed.
