Résumé

Aiming for the COP of a high-temperature heat pump (HTHP) as an optimal target, this paper presents an optimal design method by simulation of heat exchange area for dual-stage-circle HTHP with heating capability, water velocities and pressure drops of water-side both in the condenser and evaporator, discharge temperature of compressor as constraint conditions. This method involves three processes, they are optimal design for total heat exchange area of the condenser and evaporator, optimal design for area ratio ofthe condenser and evaporator (AR), and optimal design for matching of the regenerator heat exchange area and AR. By establishing numerical simulation design tool for dual-stage-circle HTHP, the author finishes a case study with this tool. Results show that the optimal calculation is an effective solution to the mismatch between configuration parameters of single components (such as condenser, evaporator, regenerator, compressor, throttling plant and etc.) operating in the HTHP and their preliminary design value. With constant heating performance, optimal design indicates an obvious effect with a decrease of 13% on total heat exchange area of exchangers and a decrease of 35.5% on total number of evaporative heat exchange tubes.
