Résumé

This article focuses on the modelling of refrigerating machines operating in transient state with the zeotropic mixture R407C. The full model comprises compressor and heat exchanger sub-models based on the application of mass and energy conservation laws, taking into account a composition glide in the calculation of local heat transfer coefficients at boiling and at condensation, which permit studying the dynamic operation of the machine. Given the gains and time constants of the heat exchangers, control of the superheat at the evaporator outlet appears easier when varying the compressor rotation speed than by opening and closing the expansion valve. A simulation of controlling the cooling capacity of this type of installation is carried out by opening the expansion valve and by varying the compressor speed. In the latter case, the control of the superheat is more unstable.
