Modèle numérique de l'absorption ammoniac-eau à l'intérieur d'un tube vertical.

Numerical model of ammonia-water absorption inside a vertical tube.

Résumé

Falling film reactors have been proposed and are employed as absorbers, condensers and heat recovery devices in advanced ammonia-water heat pump systems. The problem is similar in some respects to that of condensation of non-azeotropic refrigerant mixtures. However, here the process begins with an already existing liquid film of finite thickness whose flow characteristics and thermophysical properties influence the absorption process. The physical model is based on conservation of mass, momentum, energy and species. The design of the model is described. The results of the model describe the behaviour of the absorption process and its dependence on the various parameters. Temperature and concentration profiles have been calculated and the heat and mass fluxes have been evaluated, which yield heat and mass transfer coefficients.
