Modélisation mathématique des systèmes frigorifiques indirects multi-températures.

Mathematical modelling of multi-temperature indirect refrigeration systems.

Auteurs : GAFFNEY B., BROPHY B., FINN D. P., et al.

Résumé

This paper describes a mathematical model to predict the steady state performance of indirect secondary loop multi-temperature refrigeration systems. The research has been motivated by an increased interest within the transport refrigeration sector in the potential of indirect systems as an alternative to conventional multi-temperature direct expansion systems. The simulation model developed in this work predicts the heat transfer, pressure changes and energy consumption within a generalised indirect refrigeration system. Steady state operating conditions are determined using an iterative solution to a system of equations describing processes in both the primary and secondary fluid circuits. The overall model output includes the refrigerant mass flow rate, the refrigeration effect, condenser heat rejection, COP, energy utilisation by the compressor and the states of the primary and secondary refrigerants at the different points in the cycle.
