Résumé
In recent years, GSHP (ground source heat pump) systems have been installed on a large scale in China. The GSHP’s heat exchange is affected by a lot of factors, such as soil composition, soil moisture content and saturated zones etc. Moreover, due to over-exploitation of groundwater, the variation of groundwater is sharp in many regions of China. As a result, the soil moisture content and thermal properties change greatly. The heat transfer performance of VGHEs (vertical ground heat exchanger) is also greatly affected in a GSHP system. The operational heat exchanging load of a VGHE might seriously deviate the designing one and decrease. And hence, the operational performance of a GSHP system sharply degrades. So, there are great demands on predicting and monitoring the performance of VGHE with the variation of ground water change by a simple way. U-tube VGHE is generally a typical and key part of a GSHP system. Based on the classical linear heat exchange model, a modified model is proposed to evaluate the effects of water table variations in soil in this context. On basis of the software of FLUENT, then, numerical simulations are conducted. Under the different operation conditions, some useful results are achieved for a GSHP system such as characteristics of heat exchange, temperatures distribution under the ground, and tube temperatures etc. The modified model might provide simple and strong references in predicting and monitoring performance of a GSHP system.
