This standard specifies acceptable levels of contaminants (purity requirements) for fluorocarbon refrigerants regardless of source for use in new and existing refrigeration and air-conditioning products. Acceptable test methods are listed. It supersedes ARI standard 700-1999 and can be downloaded from the ARI Web site: www.ari.org/std/individual.
