Nouveau package pour la création d’équations de frigorigènes.

New package for generating refrigerant equations.

Résumé

The Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers (ASERCOM) have an extensive program for certifying compressors and condensing units, ensuring the comparability and validity of product performance. An important aspect of this standardisation effort is access to unified refrigerant property equations that are computationally efficient and numerically stable. To support member companies integrating these equations with their test benches and selection software, ASERCOM have developed their own software package that creates parameters and routines for refrigerant property calculations. To guarantee the reliability and speed of the calculations, a selection of fluid files is maintained by ASERCOM supporting applications like transcritical R744 cycles and systems with hydrocarbon blends like R436A. This paper describes the newly developed software package, which enables the creation of tailored fluid property equations for use in test benches, calculation tools and in other environments like embedded systems and mobile platforms using input from acknowledged reference-quality data providers.
