Nouvelle analyse exergétique pour les systèmes à sorption : définition de l'exergie de transit et concept du rendement exergétique.

A new advanced exergy analysis of sorption systems: characterisation of transiting exergy and exergy yield concept.

Résumé

Exergy analysis of sorption systems based on the classical Grassman efficiency, defined as the ratio of total outlet exergy to the total inlet exergy, is debatable. A ratio that would be close to one does not provide accurate information about the real thermodynamic quality of the exergy conversion taking place in an energy conversion process. A new definition of exergy efficiency, the exergy yield, is presented, taking into account the transit exergy and the exergy selectivity. The exergy yield enables precise analysis of exergy flows within the conversion system. This new exergy yield concept has proven to be useful when applied to a solid-gas thermochemical system.
