Nouvelle approche des technologies du bâtiment efficaces sur le plan énergétique en Croatie.

New approach to energy efficient building technologies in Croatia.

Résumé

This paper shows how new building technologies have to be implemented systematically in order to achieve advanced proposed standards. For illustration, a residential and business building in Osijek Croatia is chosen. Although all energy systems and technologies in such buildings are interconnected, the calculation procedure and the manner of using structure elements and technologies which give energy and economic optimum are analyzed first. To achieve minimal heat energy demand, a new generation of materials is used: energy efficient bricks, vacuum insulated panels, energy efficient windows and solar walls as well as the other state-of-the-art technical solutions. The energy needed for heating and cooling is supplied by geothermal heat pumps with vertical soil heat exchangers. Solar thermal collectors provide an additional heat source for space heating and warm water preparation. Additionally, the excess solar heat can be stored in a storage tank on a seasonal basis. Both heat sources are integrated in an energy system using some additional tanks, pumps and heat exchangers. The distribution of heat energy is guaranteed through ceiling or floor heating and cooling. Low temperature heating and the ventilation system ensure healthy and high quality living conditions in the building.
