Résumé

This paper provides a novel transcritical CO2 heat pump heat recovery unit, and theoretically simulates the system performance characteristics. After experimentally verifying the simulation results with experimental data, various factors that affecting the system performance are analyzed in detail in order to assess the system operating stability under varying operating conditions. Carbon dioxide is used as the working medium and the system stability is optimized under extraordinary operating conditions, especially the significant effects of gas cooler and evaporator inlet and outlet water temperatures on the system performance are analyzed in depth. In addition, this paper systematically compares the carbon emissions of the CO2 heat pump system, electric heating and direct combustion of natural gas, proving that the CO2 heat pump system not only has significant advantages in reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, but also provides a broad space for realizing the goal of energy saving and emission reduction.
