Optimizing high rise building performance.

Résumé

A review of high rise office building mechanical systems, highlighting the features and specific challenges of high rise mechanical systems design. To be effective these systems must be rigorously commissioned, proving their performance and optimizing their control. To remain effective, continuing management of system maintenance and retrofitting of systems to current evolving technologies is required. This paper outlines procedures to create and sustain throughout the life of the building, the optimal value of the Owner’s investment in advanced technology services.
