Résumé

Liquid recirculation can provide an efficient and flexible approach to large refrigeration systems. Centrifugal pumps are only one of the elements required for successful operation of these systems. Selecting the pump for an application is straightforward once the system capacity and head are known. Even with properly selected components, improper arrangement can adversely affect pump performance and possibly damage the pump. It is crucial to carefully follow specific manufacturer recommendations for NPSH, pipe sizes, and other factors.
