The role of the refrigerated vehicle in the distribution chain of temperature sensitive products and foodstuffs can be summarised as : 1) To maintain the temperature of the product at which loaded. 2) To prevent contamination of the product by bacteria, fungi, foreign odours or material. 3) To prevent any damage to the packaging of the product.
