Résumé

This article analyses the refrigeration circuit of a water chiller and describes how an advanced flow control can improve the performance and efficiency of this type of system. The discussion focuses on the water chiller with air-cooled condensers for air conditioning and industrial cooling processes. All statements are limited to this type of application only and may not be applied to other systems since the behaviour of water chillers can vary from one system to another.
