Résumé

The article presents, and partially validates, the extension of a simplified model for the energy cooling load assessment of an office building with an intermittent plant operation schedule. A previous model developed for continuous cooling has been used as the basis. The objective was to develop an algorithm using a mathematical approach similar and compatible with the ones employed for the winter heating load calculation in the UNI 10344 (1993), UNI EN 832 (2001) and prEN ISO 13790 (2001) standards, thus making it possible to merge the different algorithms in a unique procedure for the yearly energy load calculations.
