Prototype de système à absorption adiabatique au LiBr/H2O à simple effet refroidi directement à l'air, utilisant un absorbeur à plaques plates : résultats expérimentaux.

Direct air-cooled single effect LiBr/H2O absorption prototype using a flat-fan sheets adiabatic absorber: experimental results.

Résumé

A new air-cooled single-effect LiBr/H2O absorption prototype using a flat-fan sheets adiabatic absorber has been described. Unlike other air-cooled absorption chillers, in this case both the absorber and the condenser are directly cooled by the outdoor air. However, after a hundred hours of operation, no crystallization was noticed. Moreover, the prototype has observed to work quite efficiently, with daily COP values about 0.6. The cooling capacity varied from 2 to 4 kW, while the chilled-water temperature reached a minimum of 12°C. Although the prototype is not optimized yet, it can be concluded from this experimental work that the presented technology represents an important advance in solar cooling.
