Résumé

The most important problems encountered when applying various thermal insulation materials to refrigerated transport used for food, such as semitrailers and containers are described. Selection of the insulation material in compliance with international regulations as well as the insulation materials most commonly used in refrigerated transport, are presented. The possibilities of the development and the requirements for food transport as the important part of the refrigeration chain have been presented.
