Résumé

Microchannels play an important role in the search of new and compact systems. The subject is relatively new and does not yet really break through in the refrigeration industry. An exception is the automotive industry where one applies aluminium microchannels on a large scale. The article is meant to give a state of the art og the scientific research and development of microchannels and their applications in the refrigeration industry.
