Résumé

Permanent-magnetic Synchronous Frequency-convertible (PSF) compressor as a new technology has been widely used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning. In this paper, a PSF centrifugal compressor was designed and developed. Some key technologies such as large working range 3-Dimensional impeller, 360° circular refrigerant injection port, two-stage impeller directly driven by PSF motor and high-speed inverter were adopted to improve the compressor efficiency. The theoretical comparison of conventional frequency-convertible centrifugal compressor and PSF centrifugal compressor was conducted to show the performance improvement. Then, a comprehensive experimental investigation was carried out to evaluate operating characteristics of the developed compressor. Experimental results showed that the adiabatic efficiency of PSF compressor reached 75.9%~88.5%. The mechanical efficiency, motor efficiency and inverter efficiency of PSF compressor was also greatly improved. Rated COP of PSF centrifugal chiller reached 7.0, and IPLV reached 11.7. The PSF centrifugal chiller has excellent system performances under both rated and partial load conditions.
