Résumé

These proceedings contain 49 papers presented at this congress, co-sponsored by the IIR, held in Belgrade, Serbia. This congress has been devoted to the centenary of the IIR and the role of Serbia from the very beginning of the IIR. It has been the final celebration of the series of meetings during the 2008 "Year of Refrigeration". The topics of this event were those covered by the IIR Commissions B1, B2, E1, E2, as well as energy supply and energy sources, especially renewable energy sources, direction and control of energy consumption for heating, refrigerating and air conditioning in buildings, sustainable development, global warming and environmental protection.
