Résumé

Absorption chiller units can be used more intensively by the application of short-term storage (in that case cold water storage). Therefore, the effects of the storage integration are of interest. The district cooling system in Chemnitz has been investigated for an example. The system behaviour was simulated by means of computer modelling, important quantities were calculated as well as analyzed and deductions were made.
