Résumé

The presentation describes the renovation of a historic building in the center of Budapest. Born as Casino at the end of the 19th century, partly destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt as a department store back in the early 20th century. The most interesting aspect lies in the preservation of its use, in the course of over 100 years.
