Résumé

The paper shows an extract of the report made by CESI about the measurements carried out during the winter 1999/2000 on two different innovative air-conditioning systems: both of these systems are based on the use of reversible electric heat pumps with air condensation and with terminal units dedicated to the specific application. The systems tested, one of which is supplied only by electricity whilst the other is supplied by a combination of electricity and thermal energy from combustion, were developed with a double aim: to extend the potentiality of the application of the reversible heat pump systems in the residential and of the small commercial sector both for heating in the winter season (substitution of the conventional combustion systems) and air conditioning as a substitute of the DX systems of the split type.
