Résumé

These proceedings contain 68 papers of the 8th conference, co-sponsored by the IIR and the US National Committee for the IIR (held concurrently with the International Compressor Engineering Conference and the 4th IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Conference), at Purdue University, USA, July 25-28, 2000. An additional paper from the 1998 conference has also been included. General themes: heat transfer in refrigeration equipment; CFC and HCFC replacements; lubrication; refrigeration and air conditioning controls; equipment design; thermodynamic and transport properties; simulation models and equipment. The papers will be abstracted in a future issue of the IIR Bulletin.
