Résumé

A controlled environment can be used to investigate plant responses to variable climatic conditions. Particularly, in some cases, suitable humidity control may delay blossoming-time. This paper describes the design of an air conditioning unit able to produce a wide range of varying climates in the greenhouse. The system works according to atmospheric conditions; either the outdoor conditions or the recycled indoor conditions. It consists of two temperature-controlled air flows, one of which can be saturated, using a humid corrugated pad. The final climate is obtained by mixing both jets using an aperture driven by a DC motor.
