Résumé

The article presents the results of mathematical modelling of reactive chamber mufflers based on the method of transmission matrices and gives an analysis of plane-sound wave propagation in the muffler with regard to mean gas flow and losses of acoustic energy. The effect of the inlet noise muffler is calculated and conformity with theoretical and experimental values is examined.
