Résumé

CFC refrigerants R12 and R502 and HCFC refrigerant R22 have been important refrigerants in the commercial and transport refrigeration industries for both medium and low temperature applications. The objective of this presentation is to review the current status of alternative refrigerants that are currently being used in transport refrigeration systems for long term applications. Also, to discuss the issues that occur due to the implementation of HFC blends to the systems.
