The article is based on the current situation in China and abroad and presents four principles for specifying heating and cooling units, including how to conform to the country's energy policy, energy consumption index of the units and local energy conditions. It also considers initial cost and operating expense, service life and reliability of the equipment, and national and international requirements and environment protection regulations.
